Gynex is proud to introduce this unique Ascona™ I.U.D. string snare. The Ascona™ is used to overcome the challenge of grabbing a difficult-to-access I.U.D. string.
In the illustrations below you’ll see how the device can be used to reach the cervix and hook the string. The easy-to-rotate handle provides a way to snag the string in the hook tip. Pulling back on the handle secures the string at the tip. Once secured, the Ascona™ allows the user to gently pull out and remove the I.U.D.
The Ascona™ is easily disassembled for cleaning and sterilization. The locking tab can be loosened to remove the hook and flexible shaft.
